Shoe Eti-Kit™ (shoo ět'ĭ-kět', -kĭt)–noun (etiquette- the unwritten requirement that governs acceptable social behavior)
1. It is the crucial understanding that what travels on the bottom of a shoe should not be tracked indoors
2. An un-embarrassing, polite and discreet way to inform guests that outdoor soil on indoor flooring is undesirable
3. The standard of maintaining functionality should not diminish a sense of décor and style
About Us

As newlyweds and first time home buyers, we loved when friends came to visit, but we didn’t love the dirt they tracked in with their shoes! Shoe Eti-Kit™ developed when we realized there was no easy way to say, “please take your shoes off in our home”. We understood that there were many reasons guests were hesitant to remove their shoes: hygiene, medical reasons, comfort or simply out of embarrassment. We did not want to risk further embarrassment by offering our guest our personal socks or footies.

After a party, a relative suggested we supply our guests with the infamous, frumpy, and don’t forget boring blue medical shoe covers! Although, they were individual-use disposable shoe covers – the idea appealed to us, but the actual shoe covers did not. We wanted to maintain cleanliness, but not at the expense of eliminating our sense of fashion and décor. The idea came to us –

     • WHY CAN'T DISPOSABLE SHOE COVERS BE AS FASHIONABLE AS THEY ARE FUNCTIONAL?
     • WHY DO WE HAVE TO SACRIFICE STYLE FOR PROTECTION?
     • HOW COULD WE COMMUNICATE OUR EXPECTATIONS TO OUR GUESTS DISCREETLY?

There had to be shoe etiquette!

Our fun and fashionable shoe covers are now an essential survival kit for our home. Whether you are a homeowner, parent, business owner or simply someone tired of grime being tracked indoors Shoe Eti-Kit™ is perfect for you. As soon as your guests enter, Shoe Eti-Kit™ will say it ALL!

We are happy to answer your questions. for more information please contact us here.

Since they are re-usable and disposable, can I wash them?

Absolutely. We recommend washing them in cool water and allowing them to air dry.
